Epson Claria High Definition Ink
Claria high-definition ink made by Epson is a six-color, dye-based as opposed to their pigment-based, Durabrite Ink. It provides a wide array of colors which are sure to please any photo enthusiast.
Photos created with Claria ink can last up to 200 years without fading if stored in a album, and 98 years left on display. They are also high-capacity cartridges which yield roughly 60% more prints than a standard cartridge.
They come in individual cartridges, so when one runs out, you only have to replace the color you need. Claria ink is quick-drying which leaves photos more resistant to smudges. Also, Claria ink is spill-resistant, so if water is spilled, it can be dried or rubbed off without ruining the picture. The ink is absorbed into the coating on photo paper, rendering it resistant to scratches as well.
This ink is best utilized in conjunction with Epson paper, as is the case with many inks and their respective brands of paper.
