Standard or High-Yield?

Standard, high-capacity and extra-high-capacity cartridges for the same printer are interchangeable. Higher capacities cost more up front but much less per page, so they are the better buy for busy office printers.

Xerox Toner FAQs

Will compatible toner work in my Xerox?
Yes. Some models display a non-Xerox or non-genuine toner notice; acknowledge it and the printer prints normally. Our cartridges are built for printers sold in North America. Printers on a Xerox metered or leased supply plan can use different part numbers, so check the number on your current cartridge first.

Does the toner include a drum?
Often not. The Phaser 3260, WorkCentre 3215/3225 and 3335/3345, Phaser 3610 and VersaLink B400/B600 use a separate drum that is replaced much less often than the toner.

Will it void my Xerox warranty?
No. U.S. law prevents a manufacturer from voiding your warranty just because you used third-party toner. Here's the legal detail.

Can I replace just one color?
Yes. Color toners are sold individually, so replace only the cartridge that runs low.

Which Xerox toner cartridge does my printer use?

Xerox uses a 9-character part number prefixed with 106R, 108R, or 113R (for example, 106R02228 or 113R00712). Common families include Phaser 3260/WorkCentre 3225 (106R02775/02777), Phaser 3320/WorkCentre 3315/3325 (106R02307/02311), VersaLink B400/B405 (106R03580/03582), and the WorkCentre 4250/4260 series (106R01410). Look for the part number on your existing cartridge label.

Will compatible Xerox toner work with my Phaser/WorkCentre/VersaLink?
