Which ink cartridges are included in this 5-pack? One each of the PGI-280XXL Pigment Black and the CLI-281XXL Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow.
Why are there two black cartridges? Canon’s 280/281 printers use two blacks: the larger PGI-280XXL pigment black for text documents, and the CLI-281XXL dye black (often labeled Photo Black) for photos and color graphics. Both are needed and both are included.
Is this the right set for my printer? If your printer uses five ink cartridges, yes. If it uses six (such as the PIXMA TS8120, TS8220 and TS9120), it also needs a Photo Blue cartridge – our 6-Pack set includes it.
Will these cartridges void my Canon printer warranty? No. Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, your printer manufacturer cannot void your warranty solely because you installed a compatible (non-OEM) cartridge.
