Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
Installing: open the print compartment cover, wait for the carriage to stop, and remove the old color cartridge. Peel the protective tape off the new cartridge's nozzles (don't touch the nozzles or copper contacts), insert it into the color holder and close the cover. Print a test page to confirm the colors.
Printer messages: if the machine reports a cartridge error, remove the cartridge, check that all tape is off, wipe the contacts with a dry lint-free cloth and reinstall it.
