Move your existing toner cartridge into the new drum. After installing, reset the drum counter from the printer menu (Machine Info > Parts Life > Drum, or follow the prompt) so the warning clears.

Replacing the toner will not clear a drum error, and replacing the drum won't fix faded print if the toner is empty.

A “Replace Drum” or “Drum End Soon” message, repeating spots at the same spacing, gray background, or streaks that a new toner doesn't fix.

Will this void my printer warranty?

Will my printer show a message when I install it?
Some printers display a notice that a non-original or previously used drum unit is installed. Select OK or Continue and print as usual. If it isn't recognized, remove it, make sure all protective tape is off, wipe the contacts and reinstall it.
