How to Replace the Toner in the Brother MFC-L2820DW
- Open the front cover and let the machine cool for ten minutes if it has just been printing — the fuser area behind the cartridge runs hot.
- Pull the toner cartridge and drum unit out together as one assembly. They come out as a pair on this machine.
- Push the green lock lever down to release the toner cartridge from the drum unit, then lift the toner cartridge free.
