How to Replace the Toner

  1. Open the front cover of the MFC-L2710DW.
  2. Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly together.
  3. Press down the green lock lever and lift the used toner out of the drum unit.
  4. Unpack the new TN-730 or TN-760 cartridge, rock it side to side to distribute toner, then snap it into the drum unit.
  5. Reinsert the assembly and close the front cover.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Replace Toner warning: The MFC-L2710DW will display a low or replace toner alert before printing stops.
  • Faded prints: Remove the cartridge and gently rock it side to side to redistribute remaining toner.
  • Declining print quality: If issues persist after a fresh toner, the DR-730 drum unit may need replacement.
  • Paper jams: Check the rear paper path and the manual feed slot for misfed sheets.
