How to Replace Ink in the HP OfficeJet 4630

  1. Power on the printer and lift the cartridge access door.
  2. Wait for the carriage to slide to the center and stop.
  3. Press down gently on the empty cartridge to release it, then pull it out toward you.
  4. Unwrap the new cartridge and remove the plastic protective tape — don't touch the gold contacts.
  5. Slide the new cartridge into its slot at a slight upward angle and push until it clicks. Black goes on the right; Tri-color on the left.
