How to Replace Ink in the HP DeskJet 2652

  1. Power on the printer and open the cartridge access door.
  2. Wait for the carriage to slide to the center.
  3. Press down gently on the empty cartridge to release it, then pull it out toward you.
  4. Unwrap the new cartridge and remove the plastic protective tape — don't touch the gold contacts.
  5. Slide the new cartridge into the matching slot at a slight upward angle and push until it clicks. Black goes in the right slot; Tri-color in the left.
