HP Envy 4520 Ink Cartridges

Castle Ink sells remanufactured ink cartridges for the Envy 4520. The Envy 4520 takes one HP 63 black and one HP 63 tri-color cartridge, in standard or high-yield XL size. Each cartridge is a remanufactured original shell, refilled and tested in the U.S. Orders placed by 4 PM ET ship the same business day, shipping is free over $50, and every cartridge is covered by our 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Tip: turn off automatic HP firmware updates before installing third-party cartridges so an update can't block them later (here's how). Printing checks? Choose the MICR black version.

HP Envy 4520 Ink: Common Questions

Which ink cartridges does the Envy 4520 use?

The Envy 4520 takes one HP 63 black and one HP 63 tri-color cartridge, in standard or high-yield XL size.

Will remanufactured ink work in my Envy 4520?

Yes. Turn off automatic firmware updates (and HP's Cartridge Protection setting, if your printer has it) before installing, so an update can't block third-party cartridges. If a cartridge from us still isn't recognized, contact us and we'll replace or refund it under our 1-year guarantee.

Standard or XL: which should I buy?

XL in almost every case. The XL cartridges are the same physical size and fit the same slot, but hold more ink, so each printed page costs less. Standard cartridges only make sense if you print very rarely, since ink can dry out over long idle periods.
