Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
Installing: open the front cover and lift out the empty toner/developer cartridge. Shake the new cartridge gently side to side a few times, remove its seal and set it into place, then close the cover.
Supply messages: if the fax still shows a toner warning, open and close the cover once, or confirm the new cartridge when the machine asks.
Streaks or faint print: the drum is a separate part with its own life. If streaks continue with fresh toner, the drum may be due.
