Don't mix these up: This is the industry "Group 24" (GR24) half-inch twin-spool ribbon used by most desktop printing calculators and adding machines; it replaces Sharp M-310, Casio RB-2, Canon GR24, Porelon 11210/11209 and Nu-kote BR80C. Newer Canon MP11DX, Casio DR-210TM/270TM and Sharp EL-1197PIII units made after about 2016 take a drop-in cartridge instead, and ink-roller calculators use no ribbon at all.

Installation & Troubleshooting
Installing spools: lift the old spools off their posts and note which way the ribbon runs across the print head. Seat the new spools on the posts with the ribbon threaded through the guides and in front of the head, then wind the free spool until the ribbon is taut.
Faint or patchy print: make sure the ribbon is seated in front of the print head and the take-up knob has been turned to remove slack. If print stays faint after a fresh ribbon, the print head may need cleaning.

Original (OEM) supplies are new from the printer brand and cost the most. Compatible supplies, like this one, are newly manufactured by a third party to fit and print like the original at a lower price.
