What is the difference between LC3017 and LC3019?

Brother rates the LC3017 black and colors at about 550 pages each; the LC3019 black is rated at about 3,000 pages and each LC3019 color at about 1,500. Same cartridge body, same slot.

Which printers use Brother LC3017 and LC3019 ink?

Which size should I buy?

LC3019 in almost every case: it fits the same slot and costs far less per page. LC3017 only makes sense if you print very rarely.

Will remanufactured cartridges void my printer warranty?

No. Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, Brother cannot void your printer warranty just because you used third-party ink or toner. If a cartridge from us ever isn't recognized or prints poorly, contact us and we'll replace or refund it under our 1-year guarantee.
