Castle Ink sells compatible Canon 071 / 071H toner cartridges: the standard 071 black (5645C001) and the high-capacity 071H black (5646C001), which fit the same printers. They fit the Canon imageCLASS LBP122dw, MF272dw and MF275dw. Each cartridge is newly manufactured from new components, filled with fresh toner and print-tested. Orders placed by 4 PM ET ship the same business day, shipping is free over $50, and every cartridge is covered by our 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Chip note: these cartridges ship with a chip and install like an original. Turn off automatic firmware updates so a future update can't block them.

Canon 071 / 071H Toner: Common Questions

What is the difference between the Canon 071 / 071H sizes?

071 prints about 1,200 pages and 071H about 2,500. Both fit the same printers, so 071H costs less per page.

Which printers use Canon 071 / 071H toner?

Canon imageCLASS LBP122dw, MF272dw, MF275dw. Our Find Ink by Printer page has a guide for each model.

Will compatible Canon 071 / 071H toner work in my printer?

Yes. Our cartridges are new, not refilled, and install like an original. If your printer shows a replace-toner message right after installing, it is reading the page counter rather than the cartridge; the printer's toner-reset steps clear it. If a cartridge from us isn't recognized, contact us and we'll replace or refund it under our 1-year guarantee.

Standard or high-yield: which should I buy?

High-yield (the X or H version) in almost every case. It is the same cartridge body with more toner, so each printed page costs less. Standard-yield only makes sense if you print very little.
