Epson 202 Ink Cartridges – 202 & 202XL

Castle Ink sells remanufactured Epson 202 ink cartridges in every size the printer takes: 202XL black (T202XL120), cyan (T202XL220), magenta (T202XL320) and yellow (T202XL420) singles and 4-pack sets. The XL cartridges replace the standard Epson 202 cartridges in the same slots. They fit the Epson Expression Home XP-5100 and the WorkForce WF-2860. Each cartridge is a remanufactured original shell, refilled and tested in the U.S. Orders placed by 4 PM ET ship the same business day, shipping is free over $50, and every cartridge is covered by our 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Firmware note: keep automatic firmware updates turned off on your printer so a future update can't block third-party cartridges. If the printer shows a “non-genuine ink” message, choose Continue or OK; printing is not blocked.

Epson 202 Ink: Common Questions

What is the difference between the standard and XL Epson 202 cartridges?

Epson 202 black prints about 210 pages and each 202 color about 165; 202XL black prints about 550 pages and each 202XL color about 470. They share the same cartridge body and slot, so you can move between sizes freely.

Which printers use Epson 202 ink?

Epson Expression Home XP-5100, WorkForce WF-2860. Our Find Ink by Printer page has a guide for each model.

Will remanufactured Epson 202 cartridges work in my printer?

Yes. Each cartridge is an original shell with a working chip, refilled and tested. Keep automatic firmware updates off so a future update can't block third-party cartridges, and if the printer shows a non-genuine-ink message, choose Continue. If a cartridge from us still isn't recognized, contact us and we'll replace or refund it under our 1-year guarantee.

Standard or XL: which should I buy?

XL in almost every case. The XL cartridges are the same physical size and fit the same slot, but hold more ink, so each printed page costs less. Standard cartridges only make sense if you print very rarely, since ink can dry out over long idle periods.
