Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
Installation: open the ink cover on the front of the MFC-J6925DW, remove the empty cartridge, shake the new one gently, remove the orange protective cap and push it in until it locks. The printer detects the new cartridge and resets that color's ink count.
Printer messages: if the screen shows "Cannot Detect" or "Ink Low" right after installing, take the cartridge out, make sure the protective cap is off and reinstall it firmly. Replace one cartridge at a time and keep the spare cartridges sealed until needed.
