Key Facts

What's in the Box

• 1 × Canon BCI-1401Y Yellow (7571A001) compatible tank — 130 ml

Large-format tanks are sold by volume; the manufacturer does not publish a page yield because output depends on media, print mode and image coverage.

Compatible Printers (1 model)

• Canon imagePROGRAF W7250

Don't mix these up: BCI-1411 (330 ml, W7200/W8200) and BCI-1302 are different series.

Installation & Troubleshooting

Installing: open the ink tank cover on the side of the printer, raise the lock lever on the empty tank and pull it out. Gently rock the new tank side to side a few times to mix the ink, slide it in with the label facing up, and lower the lever until it locks. Close the cover; the printer reads the tank and updates the ink level.

Ink level and messages: the printer reads the chip on each tank. If it asks you to confirm a non-genuine or refilled tank, accept the prompt to continue; the ink level indicator keeps working as normal.

Banding or missing colors: run a nozzle check and a head cleaning from the printer's maintenance menu before replacing any parts.

Compatible vs. Remanufactured vs. Original

Original (OEM) supplies are new from the printer brand and cost the most. Compatible supplies, like this one, are newly manufactured by a third party to the original's size and page-yield specifications, so they drop into the same slot at a much lower price. Remanufactured supplies are emptied originals that have been cleaned and refilled.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much ink does the Canon BCI-1401Y Yellow hold?

130 ml, the same capacity as the original 7571A001.

Which printers does it fit?

imagePROGRAF W7250. See the full list above, or check our Find Ink by Printer page.

Can I use it alongside original tanks?

Yes. Each color is a separate tank, so you can replace one color at a time and keep using original tanks in the other slots.

Will this void my printer warranty?

No. Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can't void your printer warranty just because you used a third-party or remanufactured supply. If a non-original supply directly caused damage, that specific repair might not be covered.

How long can I store it?

Store it sealed, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, and use it within about 24 months for best results. Once opened, install it promptly.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed by 4 PM ET, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day from Long Island, NY, by USPS (2–5 business days). Expedited 1–2 day delivery is available at checkout, and shipping is free on orders over $50.
