Frequently Asked Questions

Will the FX-3 toner cartridge void my Canon printer warranty?
No. Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, Canon cannot void your printer warranty solely because you installed a compatible (non-OEM) toner cartridge. The FX-3 is designed to drop in as a direct replacement for the OEM part.

What page yield should I expect from the FX-3?
The FX-3 toner cartridge is rated for approximately 4000 pages at standard 5% page coverage (ISO/IEC test conditions). That covers most small-office workloads between cartridge changes.

Which printers use the FX-3?
The FX-3 fits a range of Canon models (Canon imageCLASS / MULTIPASS series), including the CFX-L3500IF, CFX-L4000, CFX-L4500IF. The full compatibility list is in the Compatible Printers section above - check your printer model there before ordering.

How much will I save versus a genuine Canon FX-3?
At $41.95, the Castle Ink FX-3 is about 34% less than the typical OEM retail price of $63.85. For users printing regularly, that saving compounds quickly across replacements.

When will my FX-3 order ship?
Orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day from our U.S. warehouse with free standard shipping on orders over $50. Most U.S. customers receive their order in 2-3 business days. Expedited shipping is available at checkout.
