Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
All-in-one design: like the original EP-L, the drum is built into the cartridge, so replacing it renews the main imaging parts at the same time. There is no chip to reset on these older LBP-4 printers.
Take the cartridge out of its bag, rock it gently side to side five or six times to spread the toner evenly, then pull out the sealing tape and remove any protective strips or covers before installing. Handle it by the body and avoid touching the drum surface.
