Don't mix these up: The same printers also take the smaller Epson T596 cyan (T596200, 350 ml), and Epson also sells a T642 cyan (T642200, 150 ml) for this printer family; check your printer's manual for which sizes it accepts. They hold the same ink in a smaller cartridge. The older Stylus Pro 7880/9880 and the newer SureColor P-series printers use different cartridges, so T636 will not fit them.

Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
Before installing: gently shake the cartridge a few times, since pigment ink settles in storage, then slide it fully into the cyan slot until it locks.
Printer messages: these are remanufactured from genuine Epson T636 cartridges. If the printer shows a non-genuine or ink-level message, acknowledge it on the front panel to continue printing. If the cartridge isn't recognized, remove it, check that the chip contacts are clean and reinstall it firmly.
