Chips, Printer Messages & Installation

Installing: open the front cover and lift out the empty toner/developer cartridge. Shake the new cartridge gently side to side a few times, remove its seal and set it into place, then close the cover.

Supply messages: if the fax still shows a toner warning, open and close the cover once, or confirm the new cartridge when the machine asks.

Streaks or faint print: shake the cartridge gently and send a few test copies so fresh toner reaches the developer.

No. The FO-3500 uses the FO-35ND print kit.
