About Canon PGI-270 & CLI-271 Ink Cartridges – 270XL & 271XL

Which set do I need: 5-pack or 6-pack?

The MG5720, MG6820, TS5020 and TS6020 use five tanks (PGI-270 black plus CLI-271 black, cyan, magenta, yellow). The MG7720, TS8020 and TS9020 add CLI-271 gray, so they need the 6-pack.

What is the difference between PGI-270 and CLI-271 black?

Both are installed at once. PGI-270 is a pigment black for crisp text; CLI-271BK is a dye black used in photos with the colors. The XL versions fit the same slots as the standard tanks.

Which printers use Canon 270 and 271 ink?

Will remanufactured cartridges void my printer warranty?
