What's in the Box
- 1 × Canon PG-275XL Pigment Black (4981C001) — about 300 pages
Page yields are the manufacturer's ISO/IEC 24711 ratings for the matching original cartridge, measured at roughly 5% page coverage. Your results will vary with what you print.
Canon PG-275 Standard vs. High-Yield: Which Should You Buy?
| Version | Part numbers | Black yield | Color yield |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | PG-275 (4982C001) black 5.6 mL / CL-276 color | 100 | 100 |
| XL | PG-275XL (4981C001) black 11.9 mL / CL-276XL color | 300 | 300 |
All versions fit the same printers. Higher-yield cartridges cost more up front but less per page, so they make sense if you print regularly.

Remanufactured vs. Compatible vs. Original
Original (OEM) cartridges are new from the printer brand and cost the most. Remanufactured cartridges, like this one, start as genuine original shells that are cleaned, refilled with high-quality ink and print-tested, so they fit like the original at a fraction of the price. Compatible cartridges are built new by a third party. Castle Ink sells remanufactured inkjet cartridges and compatible (newly manufactured) toner.
