  2. Select ‘Run as Administrator.’

  4. Click ‘next.’
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Run system file checker: 

  1. Type ‘cmd’ in the Windows search bar.
  2. Select ‘Run as Administrator.’
  3. In the command prompt, type ‘stf/scannow.’ 
  4. Wait until ‘Verification is 100% Complete.’
  5. Once complete, type ‘exit’ in the command prompt.
  6. Press enter to close the window.
