The 83X Trap Worth Knowing
The M225dw and M225dn do accept the high-yield CF283X, and so does the LaserJet Pro M201 series. The closely related M125, M126, M127 and M128 MFPs do not — those printers take CF283A only, and an 83X will not work in them. It is one of the most common mis-purchases in this family, usually made by someone buying for two printers at once.
