How to Replace the Toner in the Canon MF743Cdw
- Open the front cover of the printer.
- Pull the toner cartridge tray out by its handle until it stops.
- Lift the empty cartridge straight up and out of the tray.
- Take the new cartridge out of its bag and gently shake it side to side five or six times to spread the toner evenly.
- Remove the protective cover (and any packing tape), then place the cartridge in the slot with the matching color label. Don't touch the underside of the cartridge.
- Push the tray back in fully and close the front cover. The printer runs a short calibration before it's ready.
