Canon 055 and 055H fit the whole Color imageCLASS MF740 and LBP660 families: the MF741Cdw, MF743Cdw, MF745Cdw, MF746Cdw and LBP664Cdw. They don't fit the newer MF753Cdw, which takes Canon 069/069H, or the older MF640 series, which takes Canon 054. Yields are based on ISO/IEC 19798 testing at about 5% coverage per color. How to Replace the Toner in the Canon MF743Cdw
- Open the front cover of the printer.
- Pull the toner cartridge tray out by its handle until it stops.
- Lift the empty cartridge straight up and out of the tray.
- Take the new cartridge out of its bag and gently shake it side to side five or six times to spread the toner evenly.
- Remove the protective cover (and any packing tape), then place the cartridge in the slot with the matching color label. Don't touch the underside of the cartridge.
- Push the tray back in fully and close the front cover. The printer runs a short calibration before it's ready.
