Why does my printer reject this cartridge?
Most often because HP+ was turned on during setup. HP+ locks the printer to Original HP cartridges. Otherwise, check that the tape is off, reseat the cartridge and make sure automatic firmware updates are off.
Do I need to replace all four colors at once?
No. Each color is a separate cartridge, so you only replace the one that runs out.
