What Does HP 67XL Cost per Page?

On October 26, 2026, Staples and Best Buy listed the Original HP 67XL Black at $35.89, and Staples had the 67XL Tri-Color at $36.89. That works out to about 15¢ a page for black and 18¢ for color. The standard HP 67 cartridges hold about half as much ink, so the XL is the better buy unless you print only a few pages a month.

How Do I Replace the Ink in the HP ENVY 6452e?

Turn the printer on; the carriage only moves to the access position when it has power.
Open the cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to stop moving.
Press down on the cartridge to release it, then pull it out toward you.
Unwrap the new cartridge and pull off the plastic tape by its tab, without touching the copper contacts or the ink nozzles.
Slide the cartridge into its slot (tri-color on the left, black on the right) and push until it snaps in.
Close the door and let the printer print or scan its alignment page if it asks.
