HP+ note: if your printer is enrolled in HP+ (common on models ending in “e”), it only accepts Original HP ink, and no third-party cartridge will work in it. If it is not enrolled, our cartridges work; turn off automatic firmware updates first (here's how). Printing checks? Choose the MICR black version.

HP 67 Ink: Common Questions

What is the difference between HP 67, 67XL and 67XXL?

They are the same cartridge shape with different amounts of ink. HP 67 black prints about 120 pages and 67 tri-color about 100; 67XL black prints about 240 pages and 67XL tri-color about 200; 67XXL black prints about 400 pages. All of them fit the same slot, so you can move between sizes freely.

Which printers use HP 67 ink?

The HP DeskJet 2700, 2700e, 2722, 2723e, 2734e, 2742e, 2752e, 2755e, 2800e, 2825e, 2827e, 2842e, 2852e, 2855e, 4100, 4133e, 4152e, 4155e, 4158e, 4200e, 4252e, 4255e and 4258e; the DeskJet Plus 4155; and the HP Envy 6000, 6020e, 6052, 6055, 6065e, 6400, 6452, 6455e and 6458e. Our Find Ink by Printer page has a guide for each model.

Will remanufactured HP 67 cartridges work in my printer?

Yes, as long as the printer is not enrolled in HP+. HP+ printers only accept Original HP ink. On printers that are not enrolled, keep automatic firmware updates off so a future update can't block third-party cartridges. If a cartridge from us still isn't recognized, contact us and we'll replace or refund it under our 1-year guarantee.

Standard, XL or XXL: which should I buy?

XL or XXL in almost every case. They hold more ink in the same physical cartridge, so each printed page costs less. Standard cartridges only make sense if you print very rarely, since ink can dry out over long idle periods.
