Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
Installation: pull the tab to remove the protective tape from the nozzles, without touching the copper contacts or nozzles, then seat the cartridge in the tri-color slot and close the cover. Run the printer's alignment when prompted.
Printer messages: because this is a refilled HP cartridge, the printer may report a used or non-HP cartridge or show the ink level as unknown. Choose OK or Continue to keep printing. If a cartridge isn't recognized, remove it, check that all tape is off, wipe the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth and reinstall.
