Chips, Printer Messages & Installation

Filling: open the tank cover and the cap for one color, unscrew the bottle cap, remove the seal and fit the bottle nozzle into the matching tank port. The bottle fills hands-free and stops at the full line. Repeat for each color and close the caps.

First use after conversion: run one or two power cleanings so sublimation ink replaces any regular ink in the lines, then print a nozzle check before your first transfer.

Color and heat press: print mirrored on sublimation paper. Colors look dull on paper and turn vivid after pressing, typically 385–400°F for 45–60 seconds depending on the blank.

Sublimation Ink vs. Regular Ink

Regular Epson ink prints on paper. Sublimation ink turns into a gas under a heat press and bonds into polyester and polymer-coated blanks, so prints are permanent and won't crack or peel. That is why a sublimation printer must use sublimation ink only. This set is newly manufactured in the USA and is a compatible replacement, not an Epson product.
