INK BOTTLES AT A GLANCE

Bottle Color Approx. Page Yield
Epson 502 Black ~7,500 pages
Epson 502 Cyan ~6,000 pages
Epson 502 Magenta ~6,000 pages
Epson 502 Yellow ~6,000 pages

The same Epson 502 bottles are used across much of Epson's EcoTank lineup, including the ET-2720, ET-2750, ET-2760, ET-2850, ET-3760, ET-3850, ET-4750, and ET-4760, so a single ink set covers several EcoTank models if you own more than one.

HOW TO REFILL INK IN THE ET-15000

  1. Open the ink tank cover on the front of the printer and unlock the tank cap for the color that's low.
  2. Snap off the bottle cap and place the bottle into the matching color tank port.
  3. Let the ink flow naturally — bottles stop automatically when the tank is full.
  4. Replace the bottle cap and close the tank cap firmly.
  5. Close the ink tank cover; the printer recognizes new ink immediately.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

  • Print quality issues: Run two or three Print Head Cleaning cycles from Setup > Maintenance and print a nozzle check.
  • Ink not flowing: Make sure each bottle is fully seated; the keyed bottle tip releases ink automatically.
  • Ink levels look low after refill: Use the LCD menu to manually reset each ink level after a refill.
  • Printer won't prime after first setup: Run the power cleaning cycle from the maintenance menu; if nozzle checks stay blank afterward, contact Epson support since this can indicate a factory defect.

What ET-15000 owners ask

These are the questions that come up most for this printer on retailer Q&A pages, Epson's support pages and owner reviews, answered in our words.

How large can it print?

Up to 13 × 19 inches, fed through the rear specialty slot. Borderless printing goes up to 11 × 17.

Can it scan or copy tabloid-size originals?

No. Even though it prints wide format, scanning and copying stop at legal size (8.5 × 14 in) through the document feeder.

The main paper tray keeps jamming. What can I do?

Clean the pickup roller with a lint-free cloth and a little isopropyl alcohol, and check that its spring still has tension. Until it is sorted, the rear feed works as a fallback.

What part will I eventually have to replace besides ink?

The ink maintenance box, Epson part T04D1, which collects waste ink from cleaning cycles.

Setup stalls on my Windows 11 PC.

Epson has posted a notice about this on the ET-15000 support page. Follow the instructions there before reinstalling the software.

ET-15000 quirks worth knowing

  • It uses the same 502 bottles as everyday EcoTanks like the ET-2750 and ET-4760, not a special wide-format ink, so refills are easy to find.
  • Unlike most consumer EcoTanks, it has Ethernet, fax and a 2.7-inch touchscreen.
  • The bottles have no chips and each one is keyed to its own color tank, so firmware can't lock out third-party bottles and it is hard to fill the wrong tank.
  • Paper loads from a 250-sheet front tray plus a rear specialty feed. Anything larger than 11 × 17 has to go through the rear.
