You may see an HP 67XXL black listed online. HP sells it (3YM59AA) in Australia and New Zealand; we couldn't confirm it as a U.S. product, so for this printer the 67XL is the high-yield choice.
One thing to know about tri-color cartridges: cyan, magenta and yellow share a single housing. When any one color runs out the whole cartridge is finished, even with ink left in the other two. It is the main reason cost per page on this class of printer looks worse than the sticker price suggests.

HP 67XL black is rated at around 240 pages, which is one of the lowest high-yield ratings HP sells. That is the single reason cost per page on HP's budget inkjets looks so bad in independent testing — not the ink itself, just how little of it fits in the cartridge.
Is the DeskJet 2732 Still Sold?
No. HP has replaced the DeskJet 2700 series with the DeskJet 2800e series (such as the 2827e and 2855e), which also takes HP 67. HP 67 is shared across the DeskJet 2300, 2700, 2800 and 4100 series and the ENVY 6000 and ENVY Pro 6400 series, so cartridges are easy to find. HP's 2026 changes to HP 61 and HP 63/65 don't affect HP 67.

Does the DeskJet 2732 have HP+?
No. It isn't an "e" model, so there is no HP+ requirement to use Original HP ink. It does have HP dynamic security, so cartridges still need an HP chip.
The E and 0 are flashing on the display. What does that mean?
HP says it means a cartridge is unusable. Unplug the printer from the wall to reset it, clean the cartridge contacts and the contacts in the carriage with a lint-free swab lightly dampened with distilled water, let them dry, and put the cartridges back.
My new 67XL shows as empty right away. What can I try?
HP support suggests unplugging the printer for 60 seconds, reseating both cartridges together, and checking the contacts for tape or residue. Putting the old cartridge back in tells you whether the new one has a bad chip.
I bought my printer outside the U.S. Why don't HP 67 cartridges fit?
Outside the Americas, the same DeskJet 2700 hardware is sold with HP 305 cartridges (the European DeskJet 2720, for example). The cartridge number depends on where the printer was bought.
Can it print two-sided or scan a stack of pages?
No. Two-sided printing is manual, and the scanner is a flatbed with no document feeder. The input tray holds 60 sheets.

- HP measured the 67XL yields in an ENVY 6000-series printer, not a DeskJet, so your page counts may differ a little from the 240 / 200 on the box.
- We couldn't find a spec sheet for the 2732 itself. It is a variant of the DeskJet 2700 series, so 2700-series drivers, manuals and specs apply.
- HP rates the 2700 series at 7.5 ISO pages per minute in black and 5.5 in color, with a 25-sheet output tray.
