Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
Filling: open the ink tank cover and the cap for one color. Remove the bottle cap and seal, then stand the bottle upright in the matching tank port; the keyed nozzle only fits the right color. The ink flows in and stops automatically when the tank is full. Remove the bottle, close the caps and repeat for the other colors.
After filling: if the printer asks, confirm on the control panel that you filled the tanks. Keep leftover ink capped and upright for the next fill.
Streaks or missing colors: run a nozzle check and head cleaning from the maintenance menu. The print head stays in the printer, so let it rest between cleanings.

How many pages will these bottles print?
Epson rates its original 522 black at about 4,500 pages and each color at about 7,500 pages at standard coverage.
Will 522 bottles fit my ET-2760 or ET-3830?
No. Those printers use Epson 502 bottles, which have a different keyed nozzle. The ET-2720 and ET-4700 do use 522.
Will the printer warn me about non-Epson ink?
EcoTank printers do not read chips on bottles. After filling, confirm on the control panel that the tanks are full.
Will this void my printer warranty?
No. Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can't void your printer warranty just because you used a third-party or remanufactured supply. If a non-original supply directly caused damage, that specific repair might not be covered.
How long can I store it?
Keep bottles sealed and upright at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, and use within about 12 months of opening.
