Don't mix these up: Konica Minolta uses one DR313 color drum (A7U40TD) in each of the cyan, magenta and yellow positions, so a full set needs three. The black drum is DR313K. The later "e" models use DR314.

Chips, Printer Messages & Installation
Installing: open the front door, remove the toner cartridge for that color, then pull out the old drum. Unpack the new drum, remove its protective sheet without touching the drum surface, slide it in, reinstall the toner and close the door.
Drum messages: if the copier still reports the drum near end of life, follow the on-screen prompt to confirm the new drum. Keep the drum out of bright light.

Compatible vs. Original Drum Units
Original (OEM) drums are new from the printer brand and cost the most. Compatible drums, like this one, are newly manufactured by a third party to the original's size and page-life specifications, so they drop into the same slot at a much lower price.
