What MF4770n owners ask

These are the questions that come up most for this printer on retailer Q&A pages, support forums and owner reviews, answered in our words.

Do I need to buy a separate drum?

No. The Canon 128 is a single cartridge with the drum built in.

How many pages does a Canon 128 print?

About 2,100 pages under Canon's ISO/IEC test. Heavy graphics and dense pages will cut that number.

Does it print on both sides automatically?

No. The MF4770n has no duplexer, and its 35-sheet feeder scans one side only. The MF4570dn and MF4890dw add automatic two-sided printing.

Does it have Wi-Fi?

No. It connects by USB and wired Ethernet.

Will compatible toner void my warranty?

Under U.S. law, a manufacturer can't void your warranty just because you used third-party toner. Canon support for the MF4770n has ended anyway.
