Should I buy HP 65 or 65XL?

Can I mix standard and high-yield cartridges?
Yes. Each cartridge is read separately, so any mix of standard and high-yield sizes works.
What other printers use HP 65/65XL?
The same cartridges fit the DeskJet 2652, DeskJet 2655, DeskJet 3752, DeskJet 3755, ENVY 5052, ENVY 5055, DeskJet 2624 and 3720, and AMP 100. If you own more than one, a single stock covers them all.
Will other HP cartridges fit the DeskJet 2622?
No. HP 63, HP 64, and HP 67 cartridges look similar but are different shapes. The DeskJet 2700 and 4100 series use HP 67. Always match the number on your current cartridge.

How do I replace the ink in the DeskJet 2622?
Turn the printer on and open the ink cartridge access door; wait for the carriage to move to the center. Push the empty cartridge down gently to release it and pull it out. Unwrap the new cartridge and remove the plastic tape covering the nozzles (don't touch the copper contacts or nozzles), then slide it in at a slight upward angle until it clicks. Why are DeskJet 2622 prints faded, streaky, or missing a color?
On this printer the print head is part of each cartridge, so a fresh cartridge often fixes nozzle problems. First run the printer's cleaning tool once or twice. If one color is missing from the tri-color cartridge, that color is empty and the whole cartridge needs replacing. Can I print with only one cartridge?
